Embry: 7 Months Old

Seven Month Stats

Weight: 18.2 pounds (done on scale at home)
Height:  28 inches (done at home)
Diapers: Size 3
Clothes: 6-9 months, 6-12 months, 9 month, and some 6 month stuff. She wears 6-9 month pajamas
Eating: She nurses 5 times a day and eats 3 meals a day
Here's a list of her current foods...

Fruit Purees- apples, pears, blueberries, prunes, bananas, avocados
Vegetable Purees- sweet potatoes, pumpkin, carrots, green beans, peas, butternut squash
Things she gnaws on- cucumbers (she LOVES them-and don't worry hers are safe from salmonella), bell peppers, steamed carrots, steamed squash, pizza crust, skinny sticks, Organic Teething Biscuits, papaya, pineapple, mango, strawberries, apples
Others: Chicken and turkey purees, oatmeal, cereal, Puffs (baby puffs?), Cheerios, Yogurt Melts
Sleeping: FINALLY 11-12 hours straight through the night and two naps (typically at 9:00 am and 2:00 pm) Hooray! We did the Cry It Out method and it took two nights and the middle of the night feed was gone! Yay!!! (Started a few days after six month birthday)
Teeth: STILL no teeth! And as Jacob loves to tell me, I KEEP saying they'll be here any day!
Words: Tons of babbles and "says" Dad for Jacob in sign language. Seems to only say "mama" when she's sad and wants me....haha

New Things!

*Signing Daddy for Jacob
*Reaching for us when she wants to be picked up...melt my heart!
*A few days after her six month "birthday" I switched all her 0-6 month pacifiers to the 6-18 month ones. She uses the NUK pacis and the nipple is quite a big bigger on the 6-18 month ones, but she didn't seem to mind at all. One day I gathered up all her pacis and put them in a bag and replaced them with the bigger ones. No fuss from E.
*Sitting up. At six months I said she was about 80% there. She's all the way there now. She even goes from sitting to her tummy on purpose by lunging herself forward, haha!
*Cries and fusses when she wants something or isn't happy about the situation! Ugh! (I think she had her first tantrum last week)
*Rocks on all fours, scoots, and rolls to where she wants to go.
*Loves Peek-a-boo
*Eats finger foods
*Loves to swing

Pictures

In reality, 95% of the pictures were of this! Haha! Rolling Queen!
