I am SOOOOOOO happy with every single photo Mallorie got of our girl. Her website can be found here with all of the pictures!
Arboretum
We went for the second week in a row of the free activities they offer twice a week- petting zoo, face painting, and a Kindermusik class. E was so into the "hop hop" this week and only wanted to pet/look at the bunny.

Picking flowers at the park (I hope these weren't the start of bluebonnets that aren't supposed to be picked, hah)
When I told her we could put the flowers in her room at home she FLIPPED out! She's loved them all week and loves talking about her flowers from the park!
Picnic day at the park with friends!
E plays "restaurant" at the park for hours on end. She was making "popsicles"...a stick with a leaf on top

There's a new dinosaur encounter exhibit opening in a few days, which e's friends thought was pretty darn cool as they're in a big dinosaur phase! Hah!
Austin: Egg Hunt at Mimi and Papa's
Saturday morning we met the Harts at my parents house for Embry and Ford to have an egg hunt! Both kids did so well finding eggs and of course opening and enjoying the treats inside ;) We hung for a few hours with Mimi and Papa and E had a blast riding in Papa's wheel barrow just like Mommy did when she was little!
Cutest cousins ever!!!

Austin: Adam and Sam's Engagement Party
The main reason we went to Austin for the weekend was for Jacob's brother, Adam's, engagement party for him and his fiancee, Sam. It was a gorgeous evening and Embry had a ball with a new four year old friend running around all night!

Austin: Egg Hunt at Kiki and E-Pa's
We spent the night at Kiki and E-Pa's and E had her second egg hunt of the weekend and got so many great gifts and a ton of treats (that Mommy and Daddy may have gotten into on the drive home...hehe).

Poor thing, I had forgotten to recline her carseat, and we looked back and she was zonked like this.
Much better =)
Embry's Tree
Jacob collected a ton of acorns the week Embry was born and harvested them into trees. We've had the "Embry Forrest" the past 2.5 years and three of the trees have done really well. We decided it was time to get them in the ground, so this weekend we took one of the trees to Austin and planted it at Jacob's parents house, Kiki and E-Pa's. We plan on planting the second one at our home here in Dallas and the third at my parents lake house. It's SO crazy to think it was a little acorn just 2.5 years ago and now the trees are a few feet tall. I love that Jacob has spent so much time and effort into doing this for our girl. It's SO special!
