Eating: Eats 3 meals a day, 2 snacks a day.....or lots of snacks a day! Drinks around 8-16 oz of organic whole milk per day and lots of water. Favorites are cinnamon toast, chicken and cheese quesadillas, raw broccoli and bell peppers, mandarin oranges, grapes, fruit snacks, granola bars, any carby snack (crackers, gold fish, etc)
Sleeping: 11+ hours straight through the night (8:00 pm-7:00 am). Nap at 1:00 pm, typically for 2 hours, sometimes 3 hours.
Teeth: 13 teeth...so her three other canines have all three just barreeeeeellly come through. Like little tiny sharp pricks of the teeth..so I guess 16 teeth almost.
Words: I started keeping a list a few weeks ago of words so I could tell her doctor at her 2 year well check and after a few days we're well over 50 and I stopped keeping track. Biggest news is she's putting two words together now!
Favorite Toys: Special stickers (reusable stickers), jewelry, magnetic paper doll, makeup mirror, magnadoodle, coloring (she calls it drawing), pull string puppy dog ("woof woof"), Little People, kitchen, Mimi and Papa's doctors kit and Barbies
Favorite Books: Pink Purse book, You Are My I Love You, Minnie Bow Flap Book, Farm Counting Book
New Things
*Finally putting two words together! First one was "more Ford" and another cute one was "more me" when looking at pictures of herself.
*Finally now saying Mimi! And saying Fordy for Ford, the cutest! (I call Ford Fordy all the time) Also, calls Athena "Theen" or Woof Woof
*Jumps with both feet
*Last month I said she plays independently SO well. It's still true a lot of times, but her most said word is " 'mon " (come on). She wants someone playing with her, RIGHT next to her a lot!
*Has been going to the gym childcare 2-5 times a week all month and loves it.
*Very, very proud of artwork she brings home from MOPS and the gym childcare
*Pouts! Oh man, when she doesn't get her way she huff and puffs off and will lay face down and wait for us to notice her....hahah
*Has started to voice her opinion when I announce we're leaving somewhere she doesn't want to. She used to just go with the flow, but she is starting to realize she can throw a little fit and try to make me stay longer....
*Quite the little mother. Bathes, rocks, feeds, kisses, lays down, pats her babies backs.
*Girlfriend DANCES ALL DAY LONG. All day! Shakes her little booty when she's happy about anything, which happens all day long!
*Very into twirling when she gets a new outfit on. Also likes to show off her new outfit and hear compliments ;)
*Social butterfly! Never meets a stranger. We had a few new people come visit for evenings at our house, or out to dinner with this month and she immediately show off!
*On that note, loves to show off in front of new people!
*Could do sidewalk chalk all day long, everyday
*"Draws" our family...draws dots or blobs and assigns "mama" or "dada" or "me"
*Has been in a big daddy phase- gets really excited when he gets home and a lot of times asks for "dada" when she gets up in the morning and nap
*Still has a tough time sharing! Has a bad habit of swiping toys out of friends (and cousins, haha) hands
*Always claim she's talking to Papa on the phone. Always Papa. Haha
*Does her shape sorter correctly and easily now. Also identifies shapes correctly and says "star" and "heart" when she sees them
..........and that's a wrap!!! No more monthly posts for our little two year old!!!!!
