Todd: Seven Months Old

Seven Month Stats

Weight: 20.4 pounds (done at home)

Height: 27 inches (done at home)

Diapers: Size 3 

Clothes: 9 month and 12 month clothes mainly, 9 month PJs are still kinda fitting...I need to buy some cotton 12 month PJs! 

Eating: Much bigger fan of purees, just the last week or two. He definitely likes them a little thicker and I've been giving him store bought purees, so I add baby oatmeal to most to thicken them up. His favorite seems to be carrots, he lovesssss mashed up avocado mixed with apple sauce,  he also likes bananas, green beans, sweet potatoes, pears, squash. Gags on table food! I just started feeding him purees twice a day (morning and evening). Nurses 5 times a day.

Sleeping: Right after he turned 6 months and then got over a cold, we did night time cry it out and he now sleeps 12 hours! Woo hoo! Takes 2-3 naps a day. On days he takes a super short nap (or if I have to wake him up from a nap to go somewhere) he'll take three naps, but sometimes if he takes two long enough nap, just two. Pretty much gets 4ish hours of daytime sleep. He is following in his big sisters footsteps and wants to go to bed about 6:00 pm. Most nights I start nursing him for bed by 6:15 and he's down by 6:30. It's good and bad...I love having him down early to enjoy a little bit of alone time with Embry and have Jacob and I have alone time, but at the same time, Jacob doesn't get to see him a lot of nights. Also, on weekends and for social things it's tough to be home by 6! But since we've been down this path with Embry, I know it's not forever! He sleeps 6:30-6:30 usually.

Teeth: One tooth! Toddy got his first bottom tooth on April 14 =) Much earlier than big sister who was almost 11 months! Also, besides just being drooly, he showed no signs. Wasn't crabby or anything. 

New Things!

*Biggest, best new thing ever....sleeping all night... by MY standards! Sleeping 12 hours per night! Woo hoo!

*Army crawls like a mad man!

*Still a super spit-up man. Ugh! So ready for this to be done with. He pretty much spits up after each time he nurses. And then some. 

*Sits up alone, but isn't a big fan. He'd MUCH rather be on his tummy scooting around. He will literally dive onto his face from sitting position. The pediatrician said it's totally normal for babies who like to get around. So we never got the dreamy "sitting yet not mobile" phase with Toddy....haha. 

*Loves being in his "model pose"...kinda lounging on one side. Haha it's hilarious! 

*Puts his own paci back in his mouth...which is super helpful in his crib for sleep! 

*Likes purees! And wants to like table food...but still is so gaggy, and ends up gagging and spitting up anytime he gets a piece of table food in his mouth. 

*LOVE, LOVE, LOVES Embry. Like a lot. He just stares and giggles at her.

*Such a chill, sweet personality. I'm sure it's a second child thing, but he's so go with the flow most of the time! Despite Embry being one of the best babies I'd ever been around, she was so scheduled that if we got off of that, she was a mess. Todd can go with the flow during the day, but after 6:30 pm, if he's not in bed or headed that way....He's pissed. 

*Loves to be tossed in the air. Giggles galore!
