Pediatric Urologist Update
On Wednesday we had a pre-surgery checkup with Todd's pediatric urologist and we got the green light for Monday December 28. The surgery should take 1.5-2 hours to do and he will have three little scars (one for each of the hydroceles/hernias and one for the circumcision) and probably be fussy for a few days. Poor baby! But I'm so ready to get this over and done with and have T all healed up! Oh and at the office he weight in at 14 lbs 15 oz....CHUNKER!Gingerbread Decorating
Doing Christmasy stuff is SO much fun with a 3 year old! I was so pumped when I unpacked our Christmas decorations and found I had bought this on clearance last January! Embry absolutely loved putting it together and did everything herself. Jacob did the icing, but she told him exactly where to put it and what shapes to make. She's also been eating off of it all week...It's about to "disappear" into the trash I think....A little taste testing |
The Dallas Zoo
A sunny, 70 degree day in December definitely called for a zoo trip with our friends! Luckily a bunch of them have gotten zoo passes for Christmas already so we have many more trips ahead of us!A new Lego exhibit is coming in January! The polar bears are amazing! Can't wait to see the rest! |
The cheetah seriously freaks me out with how she stares at the toddlers.... |
We always end with a carousel ride (A good way to get the kids to leave and head to the exit) |
12 Days of Christmas Exhibit at the Dallas Arboretum
A few weeks ago we booked tickets to a special event at the Dallas Arboretum to see the 12 Days of Christmas exhibit at night! We went with four other families and the kids had a ball. Although, Embry has a blast with her besties wherever we are, hah! The kids all started out strong but nearing 8pm everyone started losing it. Hah.Ready to go in her boots! (She wanted to wear boots to "look like the girls and the mommies" hahah) |

Cookie Decorating
I didn't host a cookie decorating party for 15 toddlers this year, but at the last minute I sent Jacob out for already made sugar cookie dough and rolled out a few Christmas shapes for Embry to decorate. We invited our neighbors over and Eliot and Embry had a blast decorating!A very colorful angel |

Toddy at MOPS |
The best little helper. She went to throw Todd's diaper away and the diaper trash can was full...she now knows how to open it and attempts to take it out.... She really is the best! LOL |
