Twelve Month Stats
Weight: 22 pounds (done at pediatrician on her birthday!)
Height: 31 inches (done at home)
Diapers: Size 4 (made the switch around 11.5 months
Clothes: 12 months, a few 6-12 month shirts, a few 9 month rompers. She wears 12 month pajamas.
Eating: She nurses 2 times a day (morning and night- a few days after her 11 month birthday I cut out the midday nursing session) and eats 3 meals a day, 2 snacks a day
New foods: Whole milk!!! (yay!) Whole grain waffle with about a tsp of jelly on it (she has this now about every other day for breakfast), grilled cheese, sweet potato pancakes, spinach pancakes, plums....at this point she eats so much (and still no baby food) it's hard to keep up!
Sleeping: 11-12 hours straight through the night and two naps (typically at 8:30 am and 1:30 pm)
Teeth: Two teeth! One of the last days of September she cut her second tooth!
Words: Same as last month...babbles "mama" and "dada" but does sign language more consistently! I feel like she's starting to stay bye-bye! Kind of says bababa while waving now. Signs "milk", "more", "all done", and "food"
New Things!
*Full blown walker! So much fun! =)
*She loves putting toys inside of things...I save the plastic tubes that the baby food puffs come in for her to play with and she loves putting other toys inside. She gets VERY frustrated when things don't fit inside. Another favorite is a Britax cup holder that I used to keep on the stroller that is in her toy basket...she loves putting her sippy cup, tennis balls, maracas, etc. inside. She's often carrying the cup holder around!
*She loves playing laying down, rolling around on the floor.
*Introduced cow's milk soon after her 11 month birthday. She loved it at first, then hated it for a few days. I kept offering it to her multiple times a day, but not forcing it. For the past week she's seemed to really like it a lot. (Not sure this was the difference, but most of her sippy cups are straw sippies that she drinks water out of. We have one Avent actual sippy cup and when I started offering in the sippy is when she decided she liked it. Not sure if there's a correlation.

*Still SO social!
*Did great at her first childcare session in MOPS.
*Does the song "Open Shut Them" (does hand motions)
*Is in a phase of kind of hating her baths! Well, loves bath time, but cries, screams and crawls to the corner of the tub to hide from me when she sees the wash cloth to get her hair/face washed....
*Starting to notice her headbands and bows. She used to be so good (or oblivious) about her hair accessories. Doesn't keep them in too long these days...

*On that note, has quite a little attitude. She is such a sweet happy girl, but also makes her opinion known!
*She can be, especially when tired, sensitive. She gets her feelings hurt if you say her name in the disappointed tone when trying to get her to stop what she's doing or getting into. Little sweetie.

*Climbs up stairs (not the best milestone...luckily we don't have stairs in our house!)
*Starting to use silverware at meals. Not well, by any means, but knows the concept and is working on spoon and fork use!
*First big boo-boos...skinned nose and a black eye. Learning to walk is tough stuff!
*Does the "uh oh" hands for "uh oh" and when you say "where's so-and-so".
