Embry: 11 Months Old

Eleven Month Stats

Weight: 21.8 pounds (done on scale at Ford's pediatrician!)

Height:  29.75 inches (done at home) 

Diapers: Size 3

Clothes: 9 months, 6-12 months, and 12 months! (Glad she still fits in some of my favorite 9 month things!) She wears 12 month pajamas. 

Eating: She nurses 3 times a day (morning, before afternoon nap, and night) and eats 3 meals a day, 2 snacks a day
New foods: strawberries, blueberries, cantaloupe, fish sticks, chicken patties, Boca veggie "chicken" patties, 

Sleeping: 11-12 hours straight through the night and two naps (typically at 8:30 am and 1:30 pm)

Teeth: 1 !!!! A tooth, a tooth, we finally have a tooth!!!

Words: Does sign language for milk =) and has kind of signed more, lazily. Started doing both signs in Austin, I may have screamed when she signed milk for the first time! (I asked her if she was ready for bed and she started signing milk like crazy!) Still just says mama and dada, but has a particular sound every time she sees a dog (kind of a high pitched noise) so I think it's the start of the word "dog". 

New Things!

*Gives kisses on demand
*Gives unprompted kisses, especially to babies, dogs, and to people she is happy to see!
*Gives "high-fives"

*Walks behind her push toys (quickly!)

*Plays basketball with her hoop (plays correctly, putting things through the hoop)

*Rocking her baby doll

*Stands alone

*Has taken a few steps on her own, her record is four steps in a row and she does that a few times a day

*Recognize specific people and objects. For example, if you ask her "where's Mimi" she'll go find her and if you ask her to "go get her ball" she will go get it! 

*Loves being chased and scared! After greeting Jacob each evening, she crawls away from him laughing enticing him to chase her. If he doesn't chase her she'll stop and squawk to make sure he follows! 

*Is OFF of baby food! She does still do pouches for on the go snacks, but she hasn't had jarred, pureed baby food in 2+ weeks!
*Kind of claps....sometimes I can get her to clap if I do! =)

Have I mentioned how much I hate these rug pics?? I have approx 0.03 seconds before she rolls to go crawl somewhere and isn't happy I'm putting her on her back!
