One of our besties had a birthday party at one of our fave local pools!
Cici's Pizza Lunch and Learn
I planned a play date with a bunch of our friends to do a Cici's Lunch and Learn! We got to go to Cici's an hour before it opened and for the price of a child's buffet, we got to see how everything is made and each kid got to make their own pizza! The kids had SO much fun!

My Birthday
I had a fabulous 31st birthday! It was a Saturday and I had a 6 hour MOPS training so I got to spend it sans kids, with a bunch of my best friends! So fun! That afternoon, I came home to gifts, flowers, and treats! We went to Chuy's that night too =) I also got to celebrate with treats from friends and girls dinners with two groups of friends the week surrounding my birthday! It was perfect!
Austin
The kids and I went to Austin for 8 whole days! We hadn't been since May, and with school, speech, soccer, choir, ETCCCCC starts back up soon we know we won't be back for a long trip for awhile! It was so much fun and coincided perfectly with Ford's birthday and even more perfectly, with a crazy busy week of work for Jacob where he worked late almost every night! We got lots of good time with all the kids grands, cousins, aunts, uncles, and some of my friends!
Saying goodbye to Uncle James as he left for college!
I took some impromptu newborn pics of a friends baby we went to visit!

Unicorn and Rainbow Cupcake Decorating Class
I had heard of this bakery in Austin that did a Unicorn and Rainbow cupcake decorating class and called in May to set it up for our August trip! Crazy, right? Hah! Well it was a blast!!! Embry had the time of her life! And Ruthie and I managed to fill an entire class with friends of ours, so the class was a lot of fun!

Solar Eclipse at the Dallas Arboretum
I decided on a whim to take the kids to the Dallas Arboretum during the solar eclipse. They were having a free event where you could get glasses (which I didn't have so I needed). I knew it'd be crazy, and it certainly was! But we met up with some friends and we all had a lot of fun!
Our First Camping Trip! (Okay, Cabining)
We got invited to go camping with a group of our friends at Cooper Lake State Park (80 miles from home) and we had SUCHHHH a great time! First of all, we stayed in cabins. It's one of the rare state parks that has cabins, and they were actually pretty nice! There were 3 families and we were all 3 next door to each other. It's the families of two of Embry's very best friends, Caroline and Sophie! Between us we have 8 kids under the age of 5. It was the perfect mix of camping (spending all day outside, camp fires, fishing, hiking, grilling meals, etc) and luxuries I can't live without (air conditioning, beds, bathroom with toilet and shower/tub, and kitchen). We all got out there by dinner Friday and stayed through Sunday. It was the perfect weekend, despite Hurricane Harvey hitting the Texas coast, we actually had perfect weather. We'll definitely be back!
Water color class at the park on the lake inside the state park! So fun!
This appeared Saturday evening on E's head. She didn't know what happened. We still don't know if it was a bug bite or she bumped her head, but it went down that night thank goodness.

The kids have been REALLY into sleeping in the same room. We stopped for awhile because Todd was coughing at night, but they keep asking when they can sleep together again.
Embry has fallen in love with chapter books, and specifically Junie B Jones books! It's SO much fun!
